Luberon — Ménerbes

Domaine des Restanques

Asking price

€9,200,000

Façade of a contemporary house in light stone at dusk

The property

The silk farm dates from the final third of the eighteenth century, when the Luberon still raised silkworms. The buildings — the main structure, the silk-raising facility proper, and two agricultural outbuildings — were redesigned between 2016 and 2020 by a Milanese architect, based on a principle of restraint: Tavel stone floors, lime-rendered walls, no added partitions.

The estate covers twelve hectares, eight of which are vineyards in their third year of organic conversion, worked by a local vintner under a lease available for assignment or takeover. The century-old olive grove contains one hundred and forty trees, and the captured spring has supplied the estate with water since its construction.

The sale may include working equipment and cellar stocks, according to the buyer's intentions.

Exact address and plans communicated after meeting, at the family's request.
