The property
The podere stands at the end of an eight-hundred-metre cypress-lined drive, on a ridge of the Val d'Orcia designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. The farmhouse dates from the sixteenth century; the chapel, dedicated to Saint Anne, is contemporary with it and has retained its altar and frescoes, restored in 2014 under the supervision of the Superintendence.
The property has belonged to the same family since 1804. It is sold with its forty-six hectares of land — olive groves, durum wheat and woodland — and the entirety of the original furnishings, inventoried.
At the express request of the family, the sale is conducted with the utmost discretion: no interior photographs are circulated, and precise location is not disclosed before an initial meeting.
Exact address and plans communicated after meeting, at the family's request.
